Directions:

3. Book #2 - Last Sentence on Page Fifty:

"And nobuty ever sall him only his fin." [I kid you not.]

4. Book #3 - Second Sentence on Page One Hundred:

5. Book #4 - Next to Last Sentence on Page One Hundred and Fifty:

"I had had enough of treasure-hunting for that day, and for many a day to come."

6. Book #5 - Final Sentence of the Book:

"And I hear, just as plainly as I heard it that August night, above the rain, beyond the years, the high clear bark of the midnight fox."

7. Make the sentences into a paragraph:

To start off an anthology of short stories with a novella may seem unwise, as many readers (and reviewers) judge a book only from a few lines. And nobuty ever sall him only his fin. The woman with the carder looked up and smiled, and it was as if a small patch of Canaan opened up suddenly in this alien land, with old Ninurta holding out a hand in welcome. I had had enough of treasure-hunting for that day, and for many a day to come. And I hear, just as plainly as I heard it that August night, above the rain, beyond the years, the high clear bark of the midnight fox.

okay, so it doesn't hang together the way I hoped, but I like it anyway.
