Quaker, children's librarian, daughter, little sister, aunt, poet, fanfiction author, singer, cat-lover. Spent five years of childhood in Tonga and Fiji (South Pacific). Love the opportunity to speak or write in Spanish. In recent years, I've become a fan of various anime, manga, and manhwa series; see my fanfiction.net account for a listing!

Overarching Goals: to live in a simpler/more earth-friendly/more peacemaking way; to have stronger connections with people in my life; to savor life while it is given to me. To go deeper and live broader.

Short-Term Objectives: to clean up my apartment!; to seek out/make opportunities to sing and dance; to follow through on commitments and correspondence; to become better informed/more of an activist on issues that matter to me.

My appreciation to [info]jobiska for most of the photo bases that apppear in my userpics. I'm also making intermittent use of Yu-Gi-Oh! screencaps by [info]kuja_rang and Kokoro no Naka, a Hana-Kimi image scan from the sadly defunct Secretly Loving You, and an icon base from the most excellent web toon Making Fiends. My userpics also sport a lovely Utena icon by [info]sammiewithanie. Thanks, all! ^_^
