Springeth the spring now

Lhude sing...birds whose names I don't know. A medieval sound came from the church across the street earlier today--men singing/chanting. And early-evening sun dappled the Strawberry Mansion bridge with its wrought-iron railings and great stone pylons.

Why do I spend so much time in the close hold of my apartment and workplace?

_I Will Adventure_: name of a pretty good historical novel by Elizabeth Janet Gray. Makes a good resolution too. *I will adventure*...go forth and breathe outside air, learn the names of birds and plants--and maybe even neighbors...remember why I'm here.

I've been clinging to threads of hope provided by others. I need to learn how to spin them myself.

Funny, I do the same thing.
